Infrared shock systems for fast heating of product and surface.

Near-infrared shock vulcanization
Shock vulcanization for rubber and silicone
The NIRV shock vulcanization unit pre-vulcanizes the surface of the extrudate all around (360°) using ultra-fast near-infrared radiation.
At a line speed of approx. 15 m/min and an extrudate inlet temperature of approx. 90 °C, the surface heats up to more than 200 °C.
Your benefits
- Higher productivity – line speeds increased by more than 25 %
- Greater stability of lip profiles (no support cords needed)
- Better surface structure of sponge rubber profiles
- Higher energy input for non-polar compounds (UHF)
- Fewer belt marks
Typical applications
- Automotive seals360° shock vulcanization: stable lips without support cords, better sponge surfaces.
- Wiper rubbersFixes the lip geometry immediately after the die and reduces belt marks.
- Commercial & agricultural vehiclesStabilizes hollow chambers and lips immediately after the die.
- Medical technologyFast surface curing right after the die.
- Food & agricultureFast 360° surface curing.
