Exhaust Air Cleaning
Exhaust air cleaning systems for filtering vulcanization fumes.

Catalytic exhaust gas treatment
CT 1000 catalytic afterburner
Our environmental systems clean the exhaust air from vulcanization fumes. The catalytic oxidation unit is designed for a volume flow of 1,000 to 3,000 m³/h and consists of a combustion chamber and a vessel holding the catalyst.
A fan pushes the raw gas, laden with organic contaminants, through the unit. It is heated to approx. 450 °C in the combustion chamber and then flows through the catalyst bed, where the pollutants are oxidized. Via an outlet nozzle, the cleaned exhaust gas is released to the atmosphere or returned to the hot air system.
Selected catalysts ensure low reaction temperatures – the CT 1000 cleans exhaust air at the lowest temperature level, with minimal energy input and low operating costs.
